The 2019 Big Village Autumn Cleanup will take place on Saturday 19th October from 10 a.m. until 12 noon.

Please join us to help make Naburn as spick and span as possible for the forthcoming autumn and winter. Many hands make light work and volunteers of all ages are welcome and useful. Children, too, though they must be accompanied by and supervised by an adult, please.

We shall meet at the Village Hall at 10 a.m. for a hot drink and a homemade snack and then head out with friends, family and neighbours to make your allocated corner of our village even more beautiful.

Discarded litter will be our main target but there'll probably also be a bit of weeding and general tidying up around the village.

Bin bags and litter pickers are provided by City of York Council but please bring along your own brooms, buckets, wheelbarrows etc., and make sure to wear suitable gloves, clothing and footwear.
