The mission of the Parish Council is to improve village life by providing excellent facilities, maintaining the village in good order and creating a sense of pride and community. The Council is involved in many matters including managing the playground, representing village interests with bodies such as the Highways and Environment Agencies, and liaising with City of York Council on various topics, including planning.
The Parish Council has its own website where you can find dates, agendas and minutes of meetings, the village's Emergency Plan and other documents.
Dates for future Naburn PC meetings are also shown on the What's On page of this website and posted on the village noticeboards. Meetings are usually held in the church, commencing at 7.30pm but please check the noticeboards before attending. Anyone is welcome to attend to listen and/or ask questions, but members of the public cannot participate in any decision making.
All queries regarding Naburn PC, and its proceedings, should be directed in the first instance to the Clerk, Suzie Mercer, on clerk@naburnparishcouncil.org.uk
