The 2019 Big Village Spring Clean will take place on Saturday 27th April from 10 a.m. until 12 noon.

Please pitch in and help to make Naburn an even more lovely place to be in the spring and summer ahead.

Many hands make light work and volunteers of all ages are welcome and useful. Children too, though they must be accompanied, and supervised, by an adult please.

We’ll meet at the Village Hall at 10 a.m. for a hot drink and a homemade snack (complimentary, of course!) and then head out with friends, family and neighbours to make each of our allocated areas of our village even more beautiful.

As usual, litter will be our main target but there’ll probably also be some weeding and general tidying up to be done.

Bin bags and litter pickers are provided by City of York Council but please bring along your own brooms, buckets, wheelbarrows etc. and make sure to wear suitable clothing, footwear and gloves.
